LaCresha Kolba is a freelance writer, currently working for the Mid-South Horse Review. On weekends you can find her covering horse shows in Middle-TN and parts of Kentucky.
Along with writing she is also a photographer for her writing assignments. With a strong interest in photography, as a child she had a 110 camera, when she got into High School her Father would often lend her his Minolta 35 mm (gasp film!) She found whenever she went into a career path, it would bring her back to photography.
As a Marketing/Sales/Event Manger for the Show Place Arena in Memphis, TN, she was asked to take over duties to photograph events for the website. She also contributed articles for the companies newsletter. While working at HCA, in Nashville, she was often asked to bring her camera in to photograph meetings, activities and events. As a member of the Nashville Grotto she discovered a local small business in the music industry needed a photographer. This lead into a fabulous career move and she was a commercial photographer for four and a half years. Along with doing commercial work, she was active with the local photography clubs as committee and activity leader.
